Good Morning Everyone,
Today I'm taking part in the Project Share Blog Hop. Once a month us four demonstrators get together and do a little hop around a theme. This month we had to create a project to include at least 1 Regal colour and 1 Neutral colour.
I headed straight to the Beautiful Gallery Suite as I knew that I wanted to show off some of that gorgeous DSP - The only problem I had, was when searching through for a print, I set my heart on this one, but it didn't have a regal in it! So I looked at the colours int he Regal Family and thought that Garden Green would be the best fit, but as a solid colour behind the DSP, it just din't feel right.
So, in can the trusty gold heat embossing and the lovely flourish stamp and I think this really helped soften that block of colour.
What do you think?
Measurements

------------------------------------------
Take the Garden Green card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.
Rub your embossing buddy over the card front, ink up the flourish stamp in versamark ink and cover the edges of the card front. Now sprinkle over the gold embossing powder to cover the ink, then gently tap off any excess. Using your heat tool melt all the powder until it turns shiny and solid.
Add the Basic Beige panel to the inside of the card.
Run the embossing buddy over the vase image on your DSP and then stamp the sentiment in versamark ink and repeat the embossing process as above with gold powder again.
Gently tease over the top right hand corner of the DSP to give a little curl, then on the opposite lower left corner tease it up but not as much.
Open your scissors and gently run the edge along the side of the DSP and the Card front - the tears and softens the fibres, giving it a little more of an aged effect.
Now, adhere the DSP panel onto the card front, making sure you don't flatten your curls.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I LOVED creating it.
Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop and see what these talented ladies have created. Jayne is up next, click below to head over to her blog.
