Unbounded Beauty Ripped DSP Technique Birthday Card. Craft This Way Crazy Challenge Insta Hop

 Good Evening Everyone,

I'm still trying really hard to catch up on my blogging are share how I created some projects that I've not had a chance to post yet.

This one is from a while back, an Insta Hop from October! I know, it's shocking it's taken me so long but it was such a quick ad simple card to make - yet by using the gorgeous Unbounded Beauty DSP, it's very very pretty!

Measurements

BlackBerry Bliss Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Unbounded Beauty DSP

4pc - scrap measuring 3 7/8" wide

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

--------------------------------------------

Take the Blackberry Bliss card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add one of the Basic White panels to the inside.

Very Gently create a ripped edge along the bottom of all for pieces of DSP, then arrange then on the remaining piece of Basic White, layer and staggered to create a 'wave' like pattern. I found it easiest to work from the bottom up, adding the piece on top of each other - this made sure that the DSP below was shown well and that you could see the nice contrasting ripped edges. You need to make sure that the basic white piece below is fully covered.

Once you are happy with your arrangement and it's all stuck down, make sure you have trimmed any overhanging pieces of DSP then adhere the panel to the card front.

On the scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink and trim, adding this with dimensionals to the top right of the card.

Told you it was really easy didn't I? and thanks to this wonderful DSP - it looks amazing with pretty minimal effort.

Here's a list of supplies I used in today's project, click on the images to head over to my online store Product List

Enduring Beauty Happy Birthday Card. Stamp n Hop December Blog Hop

  Good Evening Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Stamp N Hop December Blog Hop and our theme is Shades of Colour - Colouring Techniques.

Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely love to colour so I was so excited when this theme came up. Although I how a pretty simple design, I'm sharing a few tips with the Enduring Beauty & Labeled with Love bundles.

Measurements

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scraps

-----------------------------------

Take the larger piece of Basic Black and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the piece of Basic White to the inside.

Use the cross hatch print Embossing folder fro the basic embossing folder set to add detail to the smaller piece of Basic Black. Add this to the card front.

On a scrap stamp the large floral cluster in memento black ink. Once it is dry, take your Stampin Blends and colour in the flowers with Melon Mambo blends and the leaves with Shaded Spruce,

Cut this out using the coordinating die and your Stampin Cut & Emboss machine.

Now, take your Black Stampin Write marker, and colour in the remaining 'white space'. Add this onto the card front, slightly off to the left.

You will now see that you just see the flowers, stems and leaves now, so there is no white space to attract the eye away fro the detail, and you haven't had to spend a lot of time and concentration on fussy cutting.

Next, stamp the sentiment and the outline label image from the Labeled with Love stamped set onto another scrap and cut out using the punch or die. This is pretty and elegant left as it is, but I wanted a clean and simple, unfussy look, so take your Stampin Write marker in black and 'colour' in around all the edges to Create a solid black outline - this replicates the look of a mat layer.

Add this to the card front down to the lower right.

I really enjoyed creating this card today, please take a look at the list below and continue through the hop
