Friendly Foliage Get Well Soon Card. We Fall in Colours Blog Hop. January 2026

 Good Evening Everyone,

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fabulous Festive period?

Today I'm kicking off my 2026 crafting journey with our monthly 'We Fall in Colours' Blog Hop. A group of very talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators get together and share projects made set around the same three colours.

This Month our colours are Gray Granite, Misty Moonlight & Peach Pie. I absolutely love this combination, and decided that it worked well for a Get Well Soon Card - I used the Friendly Foliage bundle and I think this card lends itself well to give to anyone, but definitely fits the masculine style too.

What do you think?

Measurements

Basic White Card Stock

Peach Pie Card Stock

1pc - 2 7/8" x 1 5/8"

Colour Family DSP Stacks

Gray Granite

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Misty Moonlight

Peach Pie

1pc - 1" x 4 1/2"

---------------------------------

Take the Gray Granite Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the Basic White piece to the inside.

Glue the Gray Granite DSP Piece to the card front.

Stamp the Get Well Soon in Misty Moonlight onto the Peach Pie strip of DSP - making sure you stamp in close to the Right Hand side.

Add both the DSP strips to card front, lining both left hand edges up with the edge of the Gray Granite DSP, having the Peach Pie piece sit slightly over the Misty Moonlight piece.

Bring in your Stampin Cut & Emboss machine and run the leaves die through in Gray Granite. Line up the two pieces so you will get the frame and in fill images cut as one piece. I used a post it note to keep them lined up when putting them through the machine.

Ink up the leaf stamp in Misty Moonlight ink and stamp onto the die cut - making sure to take time and care to line it up properly so it stamps well onto the cut piece. ( mine wasn't perfect - but that's OK, right?)

Add the Peach Pie piece Behind the die cut and then adhere this to the card front with Dimensionals, placing it centrally over the DSP Strips, taking care not to cover the stamped sentiment.

I really enjoyed making this card, and using this combination of colours - I will definitely be using it again.

Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop - these ladies are fabulous and are sure to give you so much inspiration. Petra is up next - so please head over to her blog.
