Sending Cheer Warm Wishes Christmas Card. Stamping with Friends November 2023 Blog Hop

 Good Evening Everyone,

Another post from me today! This time I'm hoping with the talented Stamping with Friends Group and our theme is 'Anything Christmas'.

I've taken the Sending Cheer Bundle & the Modern Garden stamp set and created a cute card filled with Gingerbread Men - how sweet - literally!!

Using Sweet Sorbet and Lost Lagoon as my Main Card colours is a little twist on a traditional Red & Green combo, and I think it's a great one.

Measurements

Sweet Sorbet Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

1pc - 4" x 2 3/8"

1pc - scrap

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Lost Lagoon Card Stock

1pc - scrap

---------------------------

Take the larger piece of Sweet Sorbet card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding one of the basic white pieces to the inside.

On the remaining piece of Basic White, stamp out a whole load of Gingerbread Men in Pecan Pie ink, adding a face with Memento ink. Also stamp one onto a scrap of Basic White

Add this panel to the card front, and then place the remaining piece of Sweet Sorbet into the centre.

Bring in your Mini Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the Gingerbread man and also a tag in Lost Lagoon using the coordinating die set. Cut out the three small hearts in some Sweet sorbet card.

Add the three hearts to the front of the Gingerbread man and carefully cut off the top tab section leaving just a nice border all the way around him.

Thread some of the Gold Thread from the Simply Elegant trim pack and thread through the hole in the Lost lagoon tag.

Adhere the tag to the card front, at an angle to the left hand side, adding the gingerbread man (straight) to the tag with dimensionals.

On a scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment from Modern Garden in Lost Lagoon ink and cut out with the Modern Oval Punch. Place this to the right of the gingerbread man.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I really enjoyed playing with that cute gingerbread man.

Please take a few moments to continue through the hop to get lots more inspiration for your Christmas Creations

Garden Walk Merry Christmas Card. Smart Stampin International Hops. November 2023

 Good Afternoon Everyone.

Today over on Instagram I'm taking part in the Smart Stampin International Hop. A wonderful group of Stampin Up Demonstrators will be sharing creative inspirations on our Christmas theme!

I have used the Garden Walk Suite and this fabulous Poinsettia Paper to create a simple, yet striking Christmas Card.

Measurements

Pretty Peacock Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Poppy Parade Card Stock

2pc - scrap

Garden Walk DSP

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

-------------------------------------------------------

Take the Pretty Peacock card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic White piece to the inside.

Place the DSP into your trimmer and cut off 1" from either side (i found that the easiest way for getting the measurements right)

Flip the two 1" over so that you have the simple plainer pattern either side of the floral poinsettia imagery.

Glue all three of these strips onto the card front, butting the joining edges together.

On a scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink and cut out using the Modern Oval punch. Also cut two of these shapes in Poppy Parade card. Layer these two pieces up behind the sentiment pieces, making sure you have nice even colour to either side.

Place this centrally towards the bottom of the card front.

Cut a length of the Calypso Coral trim and colour it in using your Pretty Peacock blends. Leave it to dry otherwise you may get some colour transfer. Once dry, tie in a bow and add below the sentiment.

Finally add a few of the blooming pearls around the raised sentiment label.
