Beautiful Gallery Secret Sea Just a Note Card. Monochromatic Insta Hop. Secret Sea 2025

 Good Evening Everyone,

I've just come back from a week away with the family, and I was a little slow and getting everything sorted, written and shared when I wanted to, so I'm a little behind.

But today I'm sharing a card I made for the Secret Sea Monochromatic Insta Hop. This is a really dark (almost black) blue - it's deep and moody and fabulous.

I've use the Beautiful Gallery Suite and some simple stamping to create this lovely 'Just a Note' Card.

What do you think?

Measurements

Secret Sea Card Stock

1pc - 8 1/4" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 5 1/4" x 3 1/2"

scraps

---------------------------------------------------------

Take the piece of Secret Sea card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.

Ink up a blender brush with Secret Sea ink and lightly add ink around the edges of both the Basic White pieces.

Add the larger panel to the inside and the smaller piece to the card front.

Bring in you Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the frames with the Secret Sea scrap. Pop the largest and smallest piece to one side for a future project and use the middle piece.

Pop dimensionals onto the back of this piece and place into the centre of the card front.

On a scrap of Basic White stamp the floral image and the damask image in Secret sea ink. Cut out both pieces - the damask piece with need to be fussy cut and you can use the die for the flowers.

Add dimensionals to the back to the flowers and add it to the card front. I made it look like it was wrapping around the frame.

Creative Colour Challenges - #CCC196

 Good Evening Everyone,

I run the Creative Colour Challenges blog. Each week three Stampin Up Colours are randomly selected and I ask you to create a projects using those colours! Some week's are easier than others - but what I do find is that there's a lot of inspiration given from those who participate, so I thought that on a Sunday, once I have announced the Winner of the Week's Challenge over on Creative Colour Challenges Blog, I'd hop on over here and share the entries with you in the hope that we can give everyone some more inspiration, and I will link to those I can (as anyone can enter, you don't have to have a blog or a website), so It's also my chance to share there work and show some support.

Darling Dinos Brand New In Colors Birthday Card. The Project Share Blog Hop. June 2025

  Good Morning Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in The Project Share Blog Hop. You may have seen that each week, us four crafty friends share each others projects on a Thursday - Well, on the first Saturday of the month we hop - creating a brand new project guided by a theme. This month's theme is In Colors.

I've used the Darling Dinos Bundle and the In Colors DSP pack to create a fun birthday card. Normally I'd grab my Blends and colour these fellas in, but by stamping directly onto DSP you get different effect. You "colour" your image in seconds and depending on the DSP, you get so many different finishes.

Measurements

Secret Sea Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

1pc - 4 1/8" x 3 5/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

1pc - 4" x 3 1/2"

2025-27 In Color DSP

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Scraps

--------------------------------------------------------

Take the Secret Sea Card Stock and fold along the score line to create the card base, adding the larger piece of Basic White to the inside and the piece of DSP to the card front.

Ink up the sentiments - one in Strawberry Slush and one in Timid Tiger and add centrally along the top of the the remaining piece of Basic White. Layer this onto the Secret Sea Card Stock and glue this to the centre of the card Front.

On scraps of the In colors DSP Stamp the Dino images and cut them out using the coordinating dies  or you could easily fussy cut them. Using Dimensionals, position then around the white space below the sentiment.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today, I really enjoyed making it and this layout would work brilliant with so many colour ways, and I love how stamping onto DSP helps you "colour" your image without using inks!

Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop and check out what the very talented ladies have created today. Verity is up next, click the button below to visit her blog.
