Garden Birdhouses Birthday wishes Greeting Card

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today I've been playing around with the Garden Birdhouses Stamp set, which I will be honest I haven't used a whole lot since I got it. I'm not sure why, because I think it's Fab.

This card is full of colouring, fussy cutting embossing - all really fun things that come together to make an amazing card.

Measurements

Soft Succulent Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - 4" x 3 3/4"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Scraps

So Saffron Card Stock

Scrap

Take the large piece of Soft Succulent card stock and fold along the score line, adding the basic white to the inside.

Stamp the leaves image in Soft Succulent ink all over the remaining piece of Soft Succulent ink. Run this through your Stampin Cut & Emboss machine in the Bark 3D embossing folder.

With a sponge lightly sweep some crumb cake ink across the embossed panel - this will just pick up on some on the raised areas, giving a little more depth.

On scraps of basic white stamp a selection of Birdhouses in memento ink, then when dry - colour with your blends and fussy cut.

Arrange these birdhouses on the embossed panel making sure you leave enough room to pop a sentiment. Add this panel to the card front.

For the sentiment piece, stamp the sentiment onto a scrap of basic white, then cut  the smooth oval using the double oval punch, Cut a scalloped oval out of so saffron card stock. Add this to the card front with dimensionals.

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I have another Christmas Card projdct for you. This time I'm using the beautiful Whimsy &Wonder DSP from our brand New Mini catalogue and a 6x6" One Sheet Wonder template. These are a great way to get a LOT from your stash, a 6x6" DSP and a handful of scraps can decorate 4 cards. You could rrally bulk out the card pile!

Here's the one sheet wonder template I followed from mypapercraftjourney.blogspot.com

Whimsy &Wonder DSP

1pc - 6x6"

Fold and burnish all the Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron card Stock pieces to create your cadd bases. Add the baisc white panels to the inside.

Take the piece of DSP and cut up as the diagram above suggests.

Now, layer up the DSP sections to card Stock mats which measure 1/8" larger on the length and width (this will give a nice increment).

On some scraps of basic white stamp some sentiment to fit the appropriate card designs, layer to some coloured card stock and add all these peices to your card.

I found these layouts worked the best for me and what I had sentiment wise, but you could really mix it up and get more cards or add more detail.

You're a Peach Ripped DSP Happy Birthday Card

 Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you are all well, today Ive a fun card to share whoch uses up scraps. I had a tonne of strips of the You're a Peach DSP, but wanted to do something slightly different. So I decided to rip and edge and layer them up and I'm pretty happy with how its turned out.

Measurements

Early Espresso  Cardstock

1pc - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8", scored at 4 1/8"

1pc - 5 3/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Basic White card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Scrap for flowers and sentiment

You're a Peach DSP

Strips of scraps at least 3 7/8" long but can vary in width.

Fold the larger piece of Early espresso Cardstock along the score line to create your card base. Add the basic white piece to the inside.

Take the strips of DSP and rip down the right hand side of then then starting on the right hand side of the remaining piece of early espresso, over hanging the first torn edge slightly. Line up all the strips moving towards the left. Making sure when you lay down the pieces you leave a nice amount of DSP showing below, but that you dont pull it too far back so that you dont cover it fully.

Trim all the over hanging edges, except the ripped edge on the right. Add this tk the card front.

Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of basic white and rip all four edges, layer onto early espresso and again, rip those edge. Add to the card front.

On some scraps stamp the flower cluster in Calypso Coral and add the stemens with early espresso. Either run through your die cut machine, or fussy cut. Add these around the sentiment with mini dimensionals.

This layout could work for any colour schemes or DSP you have, easily transferable to whatever look you are after

Sweet Symmetry Tailored Tag Thank You card. Share it on a Sunday Tic Tac Toe Challenge

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today We are following a Tic Tac Toe board for our Share it on a Sunday theme, and here's the card I made - choosing Punch, Patterned Paper &  Ribbon.

What's a Tic Tac Toe board I Hear you ask? Well here is the board we had to follow -

It's pretty simple really, you choose a line and create a project making sure you incorporate the three chosen elements. It's a great way to push yourself into creating out of your comfort zone, and maybe mixing some elements you wouldn't have ordinarily thought to put together.

Measurements

Night of Navy Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Scraps

Sweet Symmetry DSP

Scraps of all different designs and patterns

---------------

Take the larger piece of Night of Navy card stock and fold along the score line to create the card base. Add the basic white panel to the inside.

Cut out one shape using the tailored tag punch in basic white, and a selection of punch outs from the sweet symmetry DSP. Stamp the sentiment and cut out using the punch as well - but put this to one side for now.

First place the plain white cut out onto your card, where you would like your sentiment to finally sit on the remaining piece of Night of Navy card stock. Now, cover the rest of the card with the DSP cut outs making sure you mix up the patterns and designs. Trim off any over hanging pieces and make sure the card stock is has straight edges. So it looks like this...

Take three lengths of the bumblebee gingham and wrap them around the panel. I lined the centre piece up with the points on the white punch out, then added one either side.

Adhere this panel to the card front. Then bring in the sentiment you did earlier and add this to the card front directly over the other white punch out.

Thanks for joining me today, please take a look at what both Donna & Karen have made today
