Creative Colour Challenges - #CCC181

 Good Morning Everyone,

I run the Creative Colour Challenges blog. Each week three Stampin Up Colours are randomly selected and I ask you to create a projects using those colours! Some week's are easier than others - but what I do find is that there's a lot of inspiration given from those who participate, so I thought that on a Sunday, once I have announced the Winner of the Week's Challenge over on Creative Colour Challenges Blog, I'd hop on over here and share the entries with you in the hope that we can give everyone some more inspiration, and I will link to those I can (as anyone can enter, you don't have to have a blog or a website), so It's also my chance to share there work and show some support.

Layering Leaves Toadstool Garden Thank You Card. The Project Share Project Blog Hop February 2025

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in The Project Share Blog Hop and our theme this month is 'Sale-abration'.

If you are not familiar, Sale-abration runs for 2 months at the beginning of each year and it's an opportunity to earn FREE Exclusive products made specifically for this event, with a qualifying spend. - How amazing is that?

I'm using the fabulous Toadstool Gardens DSP ( which coordinates with the Terrific Toadstool Bundle from the current Mini catalogue - I don't have it yet, but it's on my list!).

I wanted a design to showcase lots of the patterns and designs - as they are all fabulous. So I opted for a background of 'wonky' DSP strips, adding a fussy cut Toadstool cluster and the sentiment, which is from Layering Leaves stamp set from our current catalogue.

What do you think?

Measurements

Gray Granite Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

scrap

Toadstool Garden DSP

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

6pc - 1 1/4" x 3 1/4"

scrap for the circle

fussy cut toadstool element

-----------------------------------------

Take the Gray Granite Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the Basic White piece to the inside and the larger piece of DSP to the card front.

Now arrange the 7 pieces of DSP along the width of the card front, adding them a little 'wonky' and off set to create a bit more interest.

Add a 2 3/8" circle cut from a scrap of DSP to the card front, slightly off centre to the left, using dimensionals place the fussy cut elements down on it, again off to the left.

On the scrap of basic white stamp the sentiment in Gray Granite ink and fussy cut. Pop some dimensionals onto the back add position on the card front, next to the fussy cut images, so it's overlapping both the circle and the strips of DSP.

I hope you have enjoyed y card today - I absolutely LOVED making it. It's a quick and easy layout, and you could easily use a variety of DSP patterns to create different looks.

Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop and see what everyone else has created today - these ladies are super talented so you won't be disappointed!
