Hello Beautiful Texture Chic Thank You Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop. October 2022

 Good Evening Everyone

Today I'm Blog hopping with the wonderful Touches of Ink ladies. Each month we get together and create a project for the hop with no specific theme as such - we just need to ideally work with a focus on a Suite or Bundle.

My card today uses the Hello Beautiful Bundle and as this isn't in a Suite, I've teamed it up with the Texture Chic DSP and created a vintage inspired Thank You card.

Measurements

Soft Suede Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Very Vanilla Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Texture Chic DSP

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 7/8"

3pc - scraps of different patterns.

---------------------------------

Take the Soft Suede Card stock and fold along the score line.

Lightly sponge the edges of the Very Vanilla card stock with your blending brush and Soft Suede ink and then add to the inside.

With the blending brush still loaded with Soft Suede ink, apply to the larger piece of DSP on the longer edges only. Add this piece to the card front.

Bring in your Mini Cut and Emboss Machine and the largest Hexagon from the Beautiful Shapes Dies and cut three shapes using the scrap of DSP. Add ink to these again with the Soft Suede Ink.

Take the lighter piece and using Early Espresso Ink, stamp the sentiments.

Add two hexagons  to the card front, leaving a gap in the centre, and making the one to the left higher. Adhere with liquid glue.

Add the remaining hexagon so it overlaps both and is pretty central on your card front. Adhere this down with dimensionals.

Colour in some of the pearls with your Soft Suede Stampin Blends

Using your Soft Suede Stampin Blends, colour in a length of white bakers twine. Once dry, tie in a bow and add to the central Hexagon.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today, please continue through the hop for lots more crafty inspiration. Up next is Tanja from StemelHippie, do pop by and say Hello
